The Red River Songwriter's Festival is a three-day celebration of music and community in the majestic mountains of northern New Mexico. Memorial Day Weekend in Red River, New Mexico (May 21–25, 2026) will be a heartfelt celebration of remembrance, community, and mountain adventure. The town invites visitors to honor fallen heroes while enjoying family-friendly activities, cultural tributes, and the breathtaking beauty of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

The Red River Jamboree is taking over Brandenburg Park from July 17th – 19th, 2026, and you won't want to miss this incredible weekend of live music, amazing food trucks, and mountain town fun!

Red River Ski Area is kicking off the weekend with a fresh blanket of winter magic! After 10" of new snow over the past 72 hours, the mountain boasts a solid base depth of 20 inches and a season total of 30 inches so far. The Platinum lift is running, along with Gold, Little Blue, and Rug Rat, giving skiers and riders access to 11 open trails, 7 of which are freshly groomed for smooth carving.
